Kids, I swear to goodness I was joking when I said (below) that "Dick City" must necessarily be related to someone to get this directing job! But check this out, folks, I was right! No shit, Peter Berg is the cousin of Author H.G. "Buzz" Bissinger!
I honestly believed that some producer simply made a mistake in using Dick City, and finally felt okay when enough people were suckered by bribed press to see this thing that it made a profit. But, man! Not only is Peter Berg a terrible director, he also got his most visible job because his Cousin wrote the book. But then, who's surprised? |
